Sudbury Savoyards appreciates its all-volunteer group of board members, “staff” members, and extraordinary volunteers who keep the lights on, the music playing, and all the less-glamorous back office and back stage things going. 

Below is the list of current committees and board staff. 

Committee members: Karen Powers (Chair), Tony Parkes, Kathryn Denney, Laura Jacobson, Laurel Martin, Lynn Sa. 

Committee goals: to plan our shows and events. 

Committee members: Nancy Powers (Chair), Tom Powers, Brendon Chetwynd. 

Committee goals: To secure our tech build and storage spaces. To help locate rehearsal spaces as needed. To act as liaison with the various landlords. 

Committee members: Sue Flint (Chair), Karen Powers, Lindsey Soboleski. 

Committee goals: Communications oversees general communications for the company including the content of the website and the newsletter (Sandwich Board). Show specific communication is mainly the responsibility of each show’s publicity team, but overlaps with this committee. 

Members: Kathryn Denney (Chair), Mike Lague, marc Abouaf.

Committee goals: to raise money to support the company’s ongoing expenses and show expenses. To ensure the long-term financial viability of the company. 

Members: Brad Amidon (Treasurer & Committee Chair)

Committee Goals: to make sure we don’t do anything financially untoward, unethical, or downright criminal.

Members: Andrew Conway (Chair), Mike Lague, Sue Flint, Jamie Cobleigh, Jim Ravan. 

Committee Goals: Try to wrangle the overall flow of information including: membership information, mailing lists, documents, and archives.

Committee Goals: Create events and other ways to celebrate the Savoyards’ 60th Anniversary in 2021 & 2022.
